Many women experience symptoms of hot flashes and night sweats after menopause. |

| Description: |
Many women experience symptoms of hot flashes and night sweats after menopause. If you are ready to try low dose hormone therapy to relieve these symptoms, you may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Qualified participants receive medical examinations, mammograms, and lab tests as well as the study medication at no cost. Compensation is provided |
| Criteria: |
Participants must be between the ages of 45 to 65, naturally menopausal (without periods for at least 6 months) or at least 6 weeks after a hysterectomy, having 7 or more hot flashes with sweating in 24 hours, and willing to attend 6 study visits over a 20 week period at a suburban office. |
