Relaxation and Meditation

You can learn to quiet your mind, soothe your body and energize your spirit. The Center for Women’s Health offers a four-week series of Relaxation and Meditation. Because the exercises within the program can support the healing process, enhance the immune system, combat the effects of stress and counter anxiety and depression, this series can benefit women at various stages of life.

Breathing exercises, imagery, visualization and mindfulness meditation are combined with “fun” forms of relaxation like belly dancing and poetry meditation. Participants may take one, several or all classes.
