Behavioral Pediatrics
In this area we diagnose, treat and prevent problems that arise from chronic illness, stresses in the environment, or metabolic, neurological, or biochemical causes.
Special services include:
- We help children overcome bedwetting, deal with chronic pain or illness, and address habit problems, hyperactivity, sleep disorders, and similar problems.
- We consult with parents and evaluate children who have been adopted internationally for developmental and behavioral concerns.
Pediatric Psychology
In this area we provide consultation, assessment, and therapy to help children manage behavioral concerns, developmental issues, and health problems.
Special services include:
- Psychological evaluation and treatment planning.
- Help managing the emotional and behavioral problems associated with chronic physical illness.
- Help for children with developmental delay or disability, feeding problems, gastrointestinal problems, emotional issues, problems resulting from chronic physical illness, and issues resulting from separation or loss.
Pediatric Neuropsychological Center
In this area we asses children with learning- and school-related problems resulting from ADHD, autism, head injury, seizure disorders, developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, cochlear implants, and cancer or other chronic physical conditions.
We do the following as part of our assessments:
- Work with both you and your child as well as with his teachers.
- Develop treatment plans that may include extensive evaluations, individual recommendations, and special assistance for children who are chronically or acutely ill, as well as speech and language consultation services.
