SERRC – Special Education Resource Center
SERRC centers serve as liasons between parents and school districts. They can help parents obtain school district services and serve as parent advocates in education disputes. SERRC is a great resource for any questions you have about special education programs. There are 16 SERRC centers across Ohio.

Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities
OCECD is a statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the educational interests of children with disabilities. OCECD's staff are available to assist with such areas as: public policy and school reform, identification of disabilities, early intervention for infants and preschoolers, family support systems, special education, community based services, information, referral and networking services, transition from high school to employment/college in the community.

NICHCY – National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities
This is a central information source on government programs such as IDEA and No Child Left Behind. The have a great resource directory set up in a way to help new parents. They also have a site explaining education research, how to evaluate it, and how to find the best education methods for your child
