Mental Health
Positive Educational Program (PEP)
PEP serves children and youth who have been diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance, are involved with two or more Cuyahoga County child-serving systems (ex. Department of Children & Family Services, Juvenile Court, Board of MR/DD, etc.), and are at risk of removal from their families or are returning to their families from placement. PEP uses a dynamic, child & family-centered approach called Re-Education to help these children and youth return to successful living. Your child can be referred to PEP by any Cuyahoga County child-serving system, your physician, or your school.
