Everyone experiences pain at one time or another in their lives. Most often pain is due to injury or illness and resolves over the course of time as the healing processes naturally reduce its effect.

Sometimes pain does not subside and becomes a constant part of daily life. This may be due to nerve damage or there may be no obvious cause.

Chronic pain is not only physically debilitating but causes psychological suffering as well often resulting in depression, fear, anger and family discord.

No one procedure is right for every patient. Our Pain Medicine Department will ensure that our treatments will be as individual as the patients receiving the therapy.
