Dialysis Center

Staff provides training, support, and comprehensive follow-up for home peritoneal dialysis (CAPD and CCPD) and in-center hemodialysis for children with end-stage kidney failure. Children of all ages, including infants, can be successfully dialyzed, and all efforts are made to minimize disruptions in the child's lifestyle. A multi-disciplinary-team approach is used, including a nutritionist, social worker, physicians, and nursing staff.

Hypertension Center

Staff assists primary care pediatricians in diagnosing, assessing and managing childhood hypertension. Hypertension is fully evaluated using outpatient ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, laboratory and radiology studies. Therapeutic recommendations are carefully individualized and are based on a team approach with specialists, nutritionists, and the primary pediatrician. Diet and lifestyle modifications as well as pharmacologic therapy are used.
Pediatric Kidney Transplant Center

This is the largest transplant center in Northeast Ohio, providing comprehensive follow-up care to children and adolescents receiving a kidney transplant and to their families. Our multi-disciplinary team is composed of pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and psychologists.
